Note:

Adam joined the US Civil War, and came home a physical wreck. Henry Possor said he later died of Consumption, though his Death Certificate states the cause of death as "Phthisis 8 months"

 

Because he did not leave a Will, his estate was administered at the Northampton court. The index says thus:

1874- 25 Feb Administration of the effects of Adam Worster late of the Town and County of Northampton Gentleman who died 1 Feb 1874 at the Town of Northampton was granted at Northampton to Jessie Charlotte Worster of Bridge-street Northampton Widow the Relict. Under £200.

According to Adam's Death Certificate, he died after having Phthisis for 8 months. According to Webster's Seventh New Collegiate Dictionary, it is: Phthisis (pronounced thi-ses) a progressively wasting or consumptive condition; esp: pulmonary tuberculosis

 

!BURIAL: One of five people buried at Billing Road Cemetery, in Grave 469, Section 11. It is an unmarked grave.
