This family is of only passing interest for Bramhill.net, in that Henry Pollexfen married Annie Worster. Annie was the sister of Eve, the second wife of Jack and Alexander's 2 x gt grandfather Henry Prossor. Eve's twin was Adam Worster..
Henry wrote to his daughter in the US that Henry Pollexfen and Adam Worster went off to the US civil war. It is unlikely that they signed to help either side, but Henry was a civil engineer, and may have been involved as such.
The pair returned to England, but Henry writes that Adam was a broken man, and lived just long enough to marry his childhood sweetheart "who had waited for him all the long years".
